Job Description

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator/Dispatcher for an oil and gas client located in Odessa, TX to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities every other weekend.

Summary

Responsible for coordinating logistics operations, communicating with logistics providers and field operations, managing equipment rentals, and ensuring the accurate shipping, receiving, and tracking of equipment and assets.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate and communicate with logistics companies and internal operations teams
• Administer the rental and tracking of logistics-related equipment, including baskets and subs
• Prepare equipment for shipment and transportation
• Complete and maintain all shipping and receiving documentation
• Ship and receive equipment in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain databases related to tool assets and equipment movements
• Track inventory and ensure accurate records of equipment locations and status
• Operate a forklift to move and organize equipment as needed
• Assist with inventory management and logistics reporting
• Ensure compliance with company procedures for shipping, receiving, and asset tracking
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a logistics, dispatching, administrative, or related role
• Forklift experience required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Proficiency with computer systems and database management
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
• Dependable and able to participate in an on-call rotation schedule
